About Emily

My
Story
My path to spiritual direction began in my early forties as I struggled against an uncomfortable shallowness in my relationship with God. In my Christian walk, I had learned to move past pain too quickly and to suppress deeper desires within me. By His grace, God led me to wise teachers who revealed the rich beauty of following Him—not only into the light-filled places of joy, but also into the hidden depths of sorrow. As a spiritual director, it’s my privilege to companion with others as they journey to discover the sheer splendor of God and awaken to their belovedness in Him.
In addition to being a beloved child of God, I am married and a mother to a 24-year-old son - and a 5-year-old Weimaraner. I have a BA in Psychology and completed my spiritual direction training at Selah. I spent most of my career in business administration and am so grateful for the grace God has extended me to live into the vocation of soul care in my mid-life.
